In September 1918 the buildings and land were sold by auction, the house was described as having a Hall, 2 Sitting Rooms, 2 Kitchens, a Dairy, 7 Bedrooms and a Bathroom with hot and cold water. Outside, there was a brick and slate Shippon for 30 cows, 2 loose boxes, Stabling for 4 horses, a Barn with lofts over, a Cart Shed, a Boiler House, a 6-bay Dutch Barn, Pigstyes and other buildings.
The land is now occupied by the houses in Birch Avenue, Elm Avenue, Oak Avenue, Beach Avenue and others. The farmhouse was converted into a bakery, with a shop on the right and a cafe 'up the steps' on the left.
